Spotsylvania Courthouse Historic District and Battlefield Trolley Tour

Every Saturday at 11am Starting May 14, 2016

  • The 90 minute long tour picks up riders in front of the Spotsylvania County Museum, located at Spotsylvania Courthouse Village where a National Park Service Historian will enthrall you stories about soldiers, civilians, important events and battle tales, the tour then winds its way along historic Brock Road to the Spotsylvania Battlefield with step off stops and walks to notable spots such as the Bloody Angle inside the NPS boundary. Travel to the Historic Courthouse District and see the historic courthouse and learn why the little town of Spotsylvania was the stage for one of the bloodiest battles of the Civil War. Pass historic buildings, churches and the Confederate Cemetery When the trolley returns to the Courthouse Village take some time to stop for lunch at Butternut and Blue Bistro, Courthouse Café or The Snack Shack.
